The MCCWG is composed of homegrown performing artists, dancers, choreographers, visual artists, writers, singers and ethnomusicologists.
The group seeks peace and unity in diversity hence its motto “One Mindanao for Mindanawons
Dr. Christian T.N. Aguado, Director of the Iligan City Museum and Ethnic Center and retired Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at MSUIIT shares with MCCWG the Higaunon beads he made.
He also conducted a workshop on bead making in June.
He learned the craft of bead making from his relatives in Bukidnon.
The traditional colors are red, blue, yellow and black.
