The Business Development Representative will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to generate qualified leads for the sales team. This role is crucial in expanding our client base and positioning our outsourcing services as a trusted solution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients in target industries and markets to build a high-value sales pipeline.

Outbound Sales Efforts: Conduct strategic outreach via phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce our outsourcing services, establish connections, and identify qualified opportunities.

Qualification & Needs Analysis: Engage with prospects to deeply understand their business challenges and pain points, aligning their needs with our service offerings while positioning solutions to close deals.

Sales Cycle Ownership: Guide prospects through the sales process, from initial contact to negotiation and closing, ensuring a seamless and effective buying experience.

CRM Management: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of interactions, deal statuses, and follow-up actions in the CRM system to ensure pipeline transparency and efficiency.

Team Collaboration: Partner with the sales and marketing teams to develop impactful outreach strategies and leverage insights to close more deals effectively.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify and capitalize on new opportunities for driving revenue growth.

Metrics & Results Focus: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs, including revenue targets, deal value, conversion rates, and other critical sales performance metrics.

Qualifications

Experience: 1–3 years of proven success in a sales role, preferably in the outsourcing, BPO, or professional services industry.

Demonstrated ability to close deals and consistently exceed sales targets.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Closing Expertise: Strong track record of successfully moving prospects through the sales funnel and securing contracts.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage and negotiate with decision-makers, including C-level executives.

Strategic Sales Approach: Skilled at identifying pain points, tailoring solutions, and delivering compelling value propositions to clients.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales enablement platforms, such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email automation tools, and cold-calling software.

Persistence & Resilience: Self-motivated, results-driven attitude with the ability to handle objections and rejection effectively.

Analytical Skills: Strong research and Boolean lead-searching capabilities to identify high-potential prospects and understand market trends.

Negotiation Skills: Expertise in navigating pricing discussions and contract negotiations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
