Job description

Reporting to the Deputy Operations Manager and Legal team for land acquisitions of the projects. Responsible in evaluating land and land rights related documents particularly the technical data and sketch plans of various projects and to facilitate the approval of subdivision plans to government agencies.

DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
• Conduct surveys to measure points of elevation, lines, areas, and other land surface features.
• Verify and ensures mathematical accuracy of collected survey data; determines whether additional survey data is needed for engineering, construction, or other projects.
• Evaluates existing standards, controls, and equipment used and recommends changes or upgrades as needed.
• Uses geodetic survey techniques such as triangulation, trilateration, and traversing to measure and establish features of the earth’s surface.
• Uses electronic distance measuring equipment, satellite-based positioning equipment, and other geodetic survey equipment to determine orientation of tracts of land.
• Updates and maintains database of geodetic and related information including coordinate, descriptive, or quality assurance data.
• Maintains current knowledge of developments in geodetic equipment, technology, or systems.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate of BS in Geodetic Engineering
• Licensed Geodetic Engineer
• Minimum of three (3) years of actual experience in surveying.
• Extensive knowledge of geodetic survey techniques, equipment, and computer-based software.
• Ability to traverse diverse terrain to gather data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player, organized, results oriented and proactive
