Job description

What You Will Do:
• Develop and recommend health and safety plans, including emergency and disaster response strategies, while implementing accident and loss prevention programs.
• Create employee engagement activities for safety, such as motivational signs and contests.
• Work with departments to investigate workplace accidents and suggest preventive measures.
• Conduct daily inspections and submit repair requests based on findings.
• Stay updated on safety practices by participating in safety organizations and conducting training programs.
• Attend Root Cause Analysis (RCA) meetings to review accidents, serious near misses, and environmental incidents.
• Participate in company activities such as training sessions, seminars, 5S initiatives, flag-raising ceremonies, town hall meetings, and discussions as needed.

What You Should Have:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Chemical, and/or other Health or Medical related course
• Preferably a Licensed Engineer or equivalent;
• Good understanding and adherence to CRH-Aboitiz Group Safety, Health, and Environmental standards
• At least three (3) years’ experience in the field of Health & Safety (SO2 or SO3)
• With professional Health & Safety certification
