Job Overview

The Logistics Support Specialist plays a critical role in collaborating with customers and vendors to resolve transport delivery issues, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery of services. This position involves performing logistics support activities such as accreditation and evaluation of service providers, service agreements/contracts management, claims management, and freight cost management.

This individual is responsible for identifying process improvements to increase productivity and enhance quality and internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Transaction of trucks, vans, vessel shipment of goods and raw materials for claims
• Damages to properties like warehouse damage
• Both sides of claims, processing claims to service providers & from provider filed claims to Pilmico
Key Responsibilities
• Process accreditation of new service providers and ensure compliance with accreditation requirements
• Monitor and review the validity of service agreements and/or contracts, permits, and licenses
• Maintain an updated service provider database
• Perform regular service provider performance evaluations
• Handle complaints related to the claims process, coordinating with the Salesforce Team
• Initiate investigations of delivery/shipment incidents and submit assessment reports on time
• Prepare and process claims against service providers for cargo damage incidents and/or coordinate with the Risk Team for insurance claims
• Monitor claims receivable and payment settlement coordinates
• Check and validate freight billing against shipments
• Initiate freight cost reviews and identify alternatives to optimize freight costs
