JOB OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment and facilities of the Power Plant. He has the authority to conduct servicing, reconditioning, repair and rehabilitation of main engine components and auxiliary equipment and to initiate, recommend or provide solution to non-conformances through designated channels, work related problems and concerns.

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE GUIDE:

EDUCATION   :       Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Technology; Automotive Engineering Technology; Marine Engineering; BS Industrial Technology Major in Power Plant Technology or BS Mechanical Engineering

LICENSURE      :       Preferably Certified Plant Mechanic

EXPERIENCE   :       At least two (2) years of experience preferably in Power Plant Operations and/or Maintenance

SKILLS:

• Basic Troubleshooting of Common Mechanical Equipment (e.g. Boilers, Pumps, Compressor, Heat Exchanger, etc.)
• Basic Understanding of the Diesel Power Plant Processes
• Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Knowledgeable in MS Word and MS Excel
