Job description
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the achievement of sales, proper merchandise display, good housekeeping, and excellent customer service at all times.
FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Provides excellent customer service at all times.
• Attends to customer inquiries and complaints for immediate action and solution.
2. MERCHANDISE DISPLAY & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
• Monitors deliveries of merchandise in the department.
• Ensures attractive, orderly and enticing display of merchandise.
• Utilizes and maintains proper signages and signholders.
• Replenishes on time the items required for display.
• Maintains regular contact with Department Head regarding product informations and in-store promotions.
• Reduces Bad Orders (BO) through efficient monitoring of merchandise shelf life/expiration and proper handling.
• Coordinates with Department Head and Receiving Supervisor regarding status of deliveries.
• · Prepares accurate reports on time.
3. SELLING AREA
• Implements Fresh and Clean standards in terms of proper tagging, skyline, airspace, price tags, and signages.
• Ensures proper grouping, arrangement and level of displays especially on freezers and chillers.
4. HOUSEKEEPING
• Keeps display cases and work areas clean, and follows proper sanitation procedures.
• Ensures that fixtures and accessories are in order and accounted for.
• Maintains clean and sanitized area through regular cleaning of all selling equipment.
