The External Services Specialist is responsible for the effective management and implementation of subcontracting, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
• The Specialist will guide the department in planning subcontracted work, ensuring alignment with project goals and identifying qualified subcontractors.
• They will recommend and implement process improvements, monitoring subcontracting procedures and proposing enhancements to the system.
• The Specialist will facilitate the execution of subcontracting agreements, ensuring all requirements are met and complied with.
• They will resolve subcontractor concerns and incidents promptly and propose resolutions.
• Additionally, the Specialist will approve additional subcontractor personnel, update the registry, and ensure subcontractors are informed about relevant department requirements.
• The Specialist will monitor compliance with wage orders, report accurately and timely, conduct performance evaluations, and meet regularly with subcontractors.
• They will prepare budgets for subcon expenses, understand legal requirements, reduce legal risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• The Specialist will coordinate with HR and Legal on legal matters and perform other tasks assigned by their supervisor.

Requirements:
• College degree from any field.
• At least 2 years of related experience; knowledge of labor laws is beneficial.
